Musiso Hospital

Musiso hospital is a mission hospital in Masvingo province sited in Zaka district. The hospital has a capacity of 230 beds with an average of 400 bed occupancy per month. It serves a population of 8083 and is fed by 19 clinics.

The very Hospital started as a Clinic in 1952.Patients were consulted and nursed in a round hut which is still existing and is situated at the Srs Convent.1962 built and opened in 1964.Mary Ward Srs initially run the hospital. This year Musiso is 73 Yrs old

The Hospital comprises of Ward 1 which caters for female and male surgical and medical wards. Pediatric Unit accommodating children of 12 years and below. Maternity, Gynecological and Premature Units. Isolation Ward. Other departments in the hospital include Operating Theatre, out patients, FCH, Laboratory, X- Ray, Rehabilitation, Administration, Human Resources, Information and Pharmacy
